The owner is a gentle, caring soul poo would do anything to keep you happy. What the motel lacks he makes up for and it makes up for impersonality it's currently closed for the season.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this motel on our first trip together. We had a magical time. The location is amazing, right by a mountain, and it makes you feel like you’re deep in the woods. There is also a creek in the back and a fire pit! The peace you get from this spot is unbelievable. The rooms are clean and prices are great! After 4 years of being there the first time, we are coming back again for the third time in a few weeks! Don’t hesitate to book here! Really a lovely lil motel.
Theyre certainly not closed! Booked the jacuzzi suite last week (OCT25) for a trip to see the leaves and couldnt ask for a better experience. It’s a perfect distance off the highway, grounds are well maintained and the room was cozy, if dated. Jacuzzi worked great and we thoroughly enjoyed talking to the innkeeper, an ex-USN seabee. Dont forget to pack your own shampoo. We will absolutely return next year if not sooner to ski this winter
I had such an awesome stay here. The owner is super friendly and made me feel right at home, he even gave me great tips for things to see around the area. The room was spotless and comfy. Wish every hotel had this kind of personal touch. Would definitely come back!
This is a wonderful hidden gem! You must call to make a reservation, Franz will assist you with picking the perfect adorable cottage to meet your needs. Hospitality is AMAZING! The property is adorable. Great stay. We will be back! (Also, Scrappy the dog, is so so sweet and friendly!)
This was our first time staying here. The rooms are clean and Franz. Was a fantastic host. Stayed October 3rd, 4th and 5th. 2025, Will definitely go back.
Very quality stay at Seven Dwarfs! I got the best sleep which is hard for me to achieve when I travel. Franz was simply delightful to host us and we look forward to going back!!!
If you are looking for nostalgia and a beautiful location to make family memories then this is your place. Franz is always the nicest and most helpful host. This was our third year in a row of weekending here. We love it so much and the back river is just amazing added bonus.
